Prop warehouse at Universal Studios

All of this “junk” is used in movies and tv shows when needed. Indie film producers can obtain a permit to lease as well.

The “Mexico” set is redecorated for countless movies and shows.
The OC was filmed here “in Tijuana” when Marissa almost ODed.

    Hey Michelle,

Fun read. I’m wondering if you are in advertising now since you stated that this trip was for attending an advertising convention. I am quite curious!

Hi Kevin, Thank you. Unfortunately, no. I was involved with the graphic design and advertising of my college newspaper. The convention I attended was called “College Newspaper Business & Advertising Managers Inc. (http://cnbam.org/). My group was lucky to explore the LA area and get a private tour of Universal Studios. It would be really great to work within advertising now. I somehow found my way to work for a book publisher in NY and I work with online operations and marketing promotions… not nearly as fun as advertising! 🙂
